‘Qi Gong’ means ‘energy work or skill’. Many of us find it that it complements other aspects of our practice. It works on several levels body, heart/emotions and mind/thought. It does this through motion, sound and internal imagery.
The sessions will include gentle movements to free up and loosen both the body and the mind. Short routines with a variety of ‘flavours’ will be offered to suit all tastes.
Links to video clips will also be shared to encourage practice elsewhere.
No previous experience of Qi Gong required, with moves for all abilities and adaptable to using a chair.
Everyone welcome whether staying for Sangha Works or not.
There is no set charge for our weekly classes - we invite you to make a donation when you come, by card or cash.
The Bristol Buddhist Centre runs most of its events on a donation basis. This helps maintain a spirit of generosity and gratitude, and ensure the Dharma remains accessible to all.
