If you’re new to meditation, or haven’t yet been acquainted with the practices we follow in our community (Mindfulness of Breathing and Loving Kindness meditations), this class is for you!
You’ll be guided through the stages by an experienced practitioner, with the opportunity to discuss your experience and ask questions.
WEDNESDAYS

If you already have experience of the Mindfulness of Breathing and Metta Bhavana (Loving Kindness) meditations that we practise in our community, this class will help you develop your practice and take it deeper.
The meditation finishes at 2pm, with the option to stay on until 2.30pm for tea and a chat.
There is no set charge for our weekly meditation classes - we invite you to make a donation when you come, by card or cash.
The Bristol Buddhist Centre runs most of its events on a donation basis. This helps maintain a spirit of generosity and gratitude, and ensure the Dharma remains accessible to all.
A 6-week course introducing the two core methods we practise, with opportunity for feedback and discussion.
Ad hoc Silent & Simple sessions for more experienced meditators, involving unguided sits and periods of silence.
