A note from Karunavapi about 27 August Practice Evening:

Hello, I am leading the Friday Practice Night on 27th August and wanted to invite you to come celebrate the gift of the Dharma we have received through Sangharakshita and the Triratna Community. There will be an opportunity to read short poems/verses or inspiring lines written by Sangharakshita or other members of our Sangha so do bring any along that you'd like to read. Or perhaps you'd like to compose something for the evening...

FOUR GIFTS by Sangharakshita

I come to you with four gifts.
The first gift is a lotus flower.
Do you understand?
My second gift is a gold net.
Can you recognise it?
My third gift is a shepherds' round dance.
Do your feet know how to dance?
My fourth gift is a garden planted in a wilderness.
Could you work there?
I come to you with four gifts.
Dare you accept them?
