The Five Buddha Mandala

The Five Buddha Mandala is a symbol of the riches of the Enlightened mind. As a mandala, it is a symbolic pattern depicting a state of wholeness. Within it are five different Buddha figures, representing different aspects of Enlightenment. The central figure at the heart of the Mandala is Vairocana, the Great Illuminator, whilst arrayed around him in the directions of the four quarters are the Buddha figures Akshobya, Ratnasambhava, Amitabha and Amoghasiddhi.

Over the last 5 years, we have explored this Mandala in a number of ways.
